Are you a fan of spicy food? If so, you're in for a treat!
Let me introduce you to a spicy haven that you absolutely cannot miss - YGF Malatang🔥
With multiple locations across Southern California, I went to the restaurant in Chino Hills.
First impressions matter, and stepping into YGF Malatang, I was immediately struck by the clean and inviting ambiance. None of that dingy, questionable vibe you might find elsewhere.
And the variety of ingredients available? Astounding!
From your typical hot pot fare to more adventurous options like beef tendon and pig ears, they've got it all🤩
Now, let's talk quality control. YGF Malatang doesn't mess around when it comes to freshness. No funky smells or questionable appearances here. Even the veggies are top-notch, with a plethora of options to customize your meal just the way you like it 🥬
And they even labelled everything! No more playing guessing games with your food; just pure convenience✨
But beware, dear friends, for it's easy to get carried away amidst the sea of deliciousness. One moment you're innocently selecting your ingredients, and the next, you've got a mountain of goodies on your plate. I speak from experience!
And when it's time to pay up, be prepared for the weigh-in.
The price is $13.99 per pound.
You'll also need to choose the soup bases. You've got three options: beef bone broth🐮, tomato flavored broth🍅, and spicy mix🔥
I'm all for a little kick, so I usually opt for the beef bone broth with mild spicy. But beware, the spicy sauce is not for the faint of heart! It's like a flavor explosion in your mouth, albeit with a side of sweating and possibly tears😂
I've also tried the spicy mix, but for me, it's a bit too heavy on the flavor!
The sauce is super intense and plentiful! It's sooooo salty🥵
The seasoning is rich and delicious, but it's just a tad too salty. You need some water (or soup) to wash it down.
Once you've made your selections, you'll receive your number, and it's off to the condiment station to deck out your meal to your heart's content
And fear not, cleanliness enthusiasts, for the condiment area is pristine, giving you peace of mind as you unleash your flavor creativity💖
Finally, when your dish arrives, brace yourself for a culinary experience like no other. The portions are generous, to say the least, and let's just say that restraint is not on the menu. You'll leave YGF Malatang with a belly full of warmth and contentment, possibly bordering on explosion (but hey, no regrets!) 😋
In conclusion, whether it's the quality ingredients, the inviting atmosphere, or the sheer indulgence of flavors, YGF Malatang has it all.
And hey, if you happen to overindulge, just remember, there's always Sprouts next door for a post-feast stroll to aid digestion (or make room for round two)😂
