So, you know how much we all miss Souplantation, right? That haven of endless salads and soups that we could never get enough of? Well, unfortunately, it fell victim to the cruel clutches of COVID-19 and had to close its doors😢
But hold onto your soup spoons because guess what? There's a new kid on the block – introducing "Soup 'n Fresh"! It's like Souplantation's cool cousin, and it's causing quite a stir in sunny Southern California!
The restaurant opens at 10:30am, by 11:00 AM, the line is already snaking out the door and around the block🕚
If you're lucky enough to get to the logo spot, you're looking at a solid hour and a half wait time before you can dig in😵💫
Once you finally make it inside, there's a sign with the prices – and get this, regardless of how much you eat, it's all one flat rate! 
Then comes the fun part – grabbing a plate and bowl and diving headfirst into salad heaven! 🥗
They've got a ton of options, all fresh as can be, and the place is spotless – eating here feels like a dream!
After you've loaded up on greens, it's time to hit the checkout counter. They'll ask if you want drinks (which are extra but also unlimited), ring you up, and then escort you to your table.
Now, let's talk about the soup – my personal favorite!
As soon as my plate hits the table, I'm making a beeline for the soup station😍
They've even got these genius soup bowls with handles so you won't burn your fingers – major points for that!
And the soup selection? Insane!
Chicken noodle, clam chowder, minestrone – you name it, they've got it!
Some of the more popular ones even have double pots to keep up with demand!
My top pick?
Chicken noodle soup, hands down!
It's got that perfect savory flavor that hits just right – I must've slurped down like ten bowls that day😂 It's just too darn good!
But don't sleep on the other soups either – the chowders and minestrone are legit, and they don't skimp on the toppings! 👍
Aside from salads and soups, they've got all the other buffet goodies – drinks, ice cream, pizza, fruit – you name it!
If you're a salad and soup fanatic like me, you gotta check this place out!
Just remember to come early – like, crack-of-dawn early – unless you're cool with waiting in line like us😂
